Because we had tenants living in the house for two years and hadn’t seen it during those two years, Matt had a contractor come in and fix the little things that always have to be fixed after renting: paint, holes in the walls, landscaping, etc… Matt oversaw the work for us to ensure it was done correctly. Lamb & Co then had the house fully staged with furniture, pictures, and home decor, and took real photos (not cellphone pics that I’ve seen other agencies use) and put the house on the market. And here’s where Matt’s expertise shined: He wanted to place the house on the market for a price where he saw the neighborhood value, but we argued that it should be listed for more. After a very successful open house and more than 30 additional viewings, we still had not received an offer. We then lowered the price to the original price that Matt had wanted, had another successful open house and even more viewings, and immediately received two offers. The negotiations and closing were all handled quickly and efficiently. They even sent a notary to my house since I could not be there in person for the closing paperwork. The whole team at Lamb & Co, from the office staff to the agent, to the stagers, and photographers all work together to get you the most value out of your house. And they do it for a smaller percentage than other agencies. 100% would recommend them to anyone selling a house in the greater Seattle area!
